A mirage was seen on a main road in Hyderabad as maximum temperatures in the city has been hovering around 42°C from the past few days. | Photo Credit: NAGARA GOPAL Telangana’s districts continued to record maximum temperatures above 44°C as the highest in the State on Thursday (April 23, 2026) was 44.4°C. The maximum temperature in all districts remained above 41°C. The highest of 44.4°C in Nirmal districts was followed by 44.3°C in Mulugu and Nizamabad; 44.2°C in Adilabad and 44.1°C in Jagtial. The maximum temperatures between 43°C and 44°C was recorded in 15 districts, according to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS)’ daily report.
