Poll duty officials find two ‘guns’ in car at upper Kodaikanal

The officials deployed on election duty found two ‘guns’ in a car that they stopped for checking at upper Kodaikanal in Dindigul, and alerted police on Friday.

With the Tamil Nadu Assembly election fast approaching, vehicle checks have been intensified at various places. The election officials deployed at Srinivasapuram near Silver Cascade stopped a vehicle, in which four young men were travelling. As the staff found two ‘guns’ in the car, they alerted the police control room.
