MOORTHY Postal voting for police personnel and officials engaged in election duty began in Tiruchi district on Friday, with facilitation centres set up across constituencies. Facilitation centres have been established at the offices of Returning Officers in each constituency to enable Absentee Voters on Essential Services (AVES) — those engaged in essential services such as railways, airports, marine operations, journalists, transport, power distribution, Fire and Rescue Services, prison administration, and traffic police, to exercise their franchise.
