The Alluri Sitharama Raju district police raided a coffee plantation at Sangamvalasa village in Panasaputtu Panchayat under Munchingputtu police station limits and seized 749 kg ganja on late Saturday night (April 25, 2026). The estimated value of the seized ganja was about ₹38 lakh, but it could be sold for about ₹80 lakh or more in some States, according to the police.
