Over 15,69,141 voters across the six Assembly constituencies are expected to cast their votes on the April 23 Assembly election. The final roll includes 7,83,351 male voters, 226 third-gender and 7,85,526 women voters. About 10,048 polling parties and 223 sector officers will be engaged on polling day. Addressing the media on the poll arrangements at the Krishnagiri Collectorate, the District Election Officer and Collector C. Dinesh Kumar said the polling will be monitored by 2,246 police officers, excluding CISF companies and forces from Kerala and Rajasthan home guards. It will also be monitored by 3,206 volunteers and 167 micro observers, he added.
