Interior districts of T.N. to sizzle till April 21; humidity to elevate heat stress in coastal districts

Interior districts of Tamil Nadu will continue to experience scorching heat for a few more days, while coastal areas, despite near normal daytime temperatures, are likely to experience oppressive conditions due to high humidity, pushing the heat index higher.

High humidity levels along the coast are expected to make people feel significantly greater heat, with the ‘real feel temperature’ likely to exceed 42 degree Celsius. According to meteorologists, residents may experience uncomfortable weather despite lower maximum temperatures.
