Communist Party of India (CPI) national control commission chairman Dr. K Narayana and State secretary Gujjula Easwaraiah, along with other leaders, staged a protest at petrol bunks in Tirupati on Tuesday (April 28, 2026), demanding that the government resolve the ongoing crisis of petrol and diesel in the State.

They staged an innovative demonstration by pulling an auto-rickshaw with ropes from YSR statue in the city to the petrol filling station on Tilak Road. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Narayana said, “The shortage of petrol and diesel in the State has increased drastically, leaving motorists in a miserable situation.”
