A 48-year-old man allegedly abducted his estranged wife at Perambalur on Monday. Police sources said Perumal had been working abroad for nearly 20 years and had returned home. He and his wife P. Selvarani, 38, lived separately following a misunderstanding between them. Selvarani was staying in a rented house in Perambalur.
