Former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday underscored the importance of values, character and cultural grounding alongside academic knowledge, and urged young law graduates to remain anchored in Indian ethos while responding to the demands of a rapidly evolving world.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the centenary celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law, held at Andhra University. The event, themed “Lex Eminence: Law, Justice and Legal Education — A Centenary Journey”, took place at the AU Convention Centre on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam.
