Polling was peaceful on Thursday (April 23, 2026), with 90.10% of electors exercising their franchise. At the end of polling, all EVMs and VVPAT units were sealed, handed over to zonal officer teams, and transported under security to the counting centres. Materials from Erode (East), Erode (West), Modakkurichi, Bhavani, Perundurai, and Anthiyur constituencies were taken to the Government College of Engineering, Chithode, while those from Gobichettipalayam and Bhavanisagar (Reserved) were moved to the Government Arts and Science College, Gobichettipalayam. The process was completed in the early hours of Friday (April 24).
