Three individuals, including two women, were arrested after Excise enforcement teams uncovered an inter-State smuggling network transporting cannabis from Odisha to Bengaluru using hired carriers to avoid detection. The officials seized 25.5 kilograms of ganja valued at ₹12.5 lakh during the raid on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Karri Ramanamma, Arli Lavamma and Arli Govind, were taken into custody and the seized ganja was handed over to the staff of Vikarabad Excise Station.
