In a nod to the amalgamation of cultures, the 2,500 sq. ft. library that holds 7,500 books in English, French, and Kannada is named after French writer Simone de Beauvoir, while the screening centre has been created in honour of Kannada writer S.L. Bhyrappa, who passed away last year.
