Holiday declared for schools in Puducherry

All government, aided and private schools in Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam regions of the Union Territory will remain closed from April 27 to May 31. The institutions are directed not to conduct any special classes during the summer vacation. The schools will reopen after the summer vacation only on June 1, Joint Director of Education Department V. G Sivagami has said.
