The delegation comprising State education officials and teachers for the first-ever visit to Finland. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT In a special initiative aimed at transforming school education, the State government has launched a five-day teachers’ visit to Finland for an educational exchange programme from April 20. Including six education officials representing diverse roles, the delegation of 34 teachers and lecturers will depart on Saturday. Organised in collaboration with the University of Turku and the University of Helsinki, the educators will have first-hand experience of one of the most acclaimed education systems.
