Stalin in Tiruppur on Saturday compared his burning of a copy of the Constitution Amendment Bill on April 16 to its defeat in Parliament the next day and said the flames of the DMK’s black flag protest burnt down BJP’s saffron flag. While campaigning for candidates of the DMK and its allies contesting from the Assembly segments in Tiruppur district, a beaming Mr. Stalin broke into song, belting out ‘En kitte modhadhe…’ from Superstar Rajnikanth’s Rajadhi Raja and customising the verses to imply Tamil Nadu, being the fortress of Periyar and Anna, was impregnable, to highlight his sense of victory.
