Over 100 students took part in a coastal cleanup initiative organised by the Pondicherry University’s Community College in collaboration with PLANT Foundation on Saturday. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT More than 100 students participated in a coastal cleanup programme organised by the Pondicherry University’s Community College in collaboration with PLANT Foundation on Saturday. Students from the departments of physical education, commerce and visual communication participated in the cleanup drive at the Rock Beach. Under the supervision of the staff, they collected waste from the sands of the beach. The programme was held to promote the need for collective effort in the protection of natural environment, according to a release issued here.
