As part of ‘Operation Crackdown 1.0’, the Adilabad police arrested four persons and identified as many as 74 suspected mule bank accounts that were linked to 12 cyber fraud complaints from across the country reported through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). According to the police, as many as 12 cases were registered pertaining to the cyber fraud involving ₹7.01 crore scam at various police stations in Adilabad district. These cases were linked to fake trading, online gaming and betting fraud.
