The government will release the second installment of financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for farmers across the State on April 20.

The funds will be formally released during a public meeting to be held at Kataram in Bhupalpally district, in the presence of the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other ministers. According to official data, Telangana has around 73 lakh farmers. The first installment of Rythu Bharosa assistance was disbursed on March 23, benefiting all eligible farmers. During that phase, the government released nearly ₹3,590 crore.
