Meanwhile, people queued up to take selfies outside the exhibit of a transparent dome house, resembling a igloo, made of polycarbonate sheet. These can be installed on terraces or in gardens, or used while camping, as outdoor lounges. According to information from the marketing team, five such dome houses had been sold in the past two days. These have a window, curtains, an exhaust fan, air-conditioner, a bathroom attached, and a lock system as well. They come in different sizes and shapes, and the price varies with the size, the team said. The exhibited one has a 18-ft diameter, accommodating a double cot, and is being sold at ₹6 lakh. Another unit accommodates a round table, with six chairs. It can be installed easily and is also easily movable. According to the team, the existing structures are imported from China and would be made in Vijayawada from next month.
