Yathindra’s name transferred from voters’ list in Mysuru to Bengaluru for a post in GBA, alleges S.R. Mahesh

Amidst the charges and counter-charges over “family politics” in JD(S) and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s family, former Minister S.R. Mahesh on Friday revealed that Yathindra Siddaramaiah, MLC, has been removed from the voters’ list in Mysuru and enrolled in Bengaluru to help him secure a post in the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).

Responding to Yathindra’s clarification that the “family politics” in JD(S) was fundamentally different from the “legacy politics” practiced by their family, Mr. Mahesh told reporters that Dr. Yathindra was not only a member of the Ashraya Committee and an MLC, but had now been enrolled in the voters’ list in Bengaluru, which was a pre-requisite for a key post in GBA.
