File | Photo Credit: K.V.S Giri Classes at the newly sanctioned PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Macherla will begin in the 2026-27 academic year, after the Union Ministry granted approval to start classes from Class 1 to Class 5, officials said. The school will initially function from the Government Boys High School premises in Macherla. Each class will have an intake of 40 students. The State government has allotted 4.56 acres along the national highway for the permanent campus, and the government orders have been issued.
