The Food and Civil Supplies department has intensified monitoring of ration distribution across Kerala to ensure food security amid the ongoing West Asia crisis. Based on directives from the Union government, the department has informed that the distribution of foodgrain for April and May is continuing steadily without any hindrance. Besides, special squads have been deployed to oversee the process and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive their ration quota without diversion.
