A 68-year-old man was found dead in the compound of his home at Pattambi near here on Saturday afternoon. Sunstroke or dehydration is suspected to have caused the death of Basheer Valappil. Neighbours found Basheer lying unresponsive around 2 p.m., and rushed him to Government Taluk Hospital, Pattambi, where he was declared dead on arrival.
