As many as 209 persons were arrested in 91 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act during a three-month crackdown carried out by the Cyberabad enforcement teams in coordination with law and order police between January 1 and March 31, 2026. The operations led to the seizure of narcotic substances worth over ₹2.29 crore. Among the substances seized, ganja accounted for the bulk, with 333.159 kilograms worth ₹1.62 crore recovered across 62 cases, leading to the arrest of 126 individuals. In addition, 33 kilograms of ganja-laced chocolates and four ganja plants were also confiscated in separate cases.
