Saji had initially fled the house when the police arrived to investigate a missing persons complaint, but was later arrested. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court at Nedumkandam in Idukki on Wednesday remanded 43-year-old Saji, the accused in the double murder of his mother and brother at Pachady near Nedumkandam, to judicial custody. The police arrested Saji on Tuesday after recovering the decomposed remains of his mother, Marykkutty, 70, and brother, Reji, 47, from the premises of their home on Monday.
