Dr. K.T. Sangeeta Nambiar, the second accused in the abetment to suicide case related to the death of dental college student R.L Nithin Raj, appeared before the special investigation team on Monday after remaining in absconding for 16 days. She was released on bail after arrest formalities were completed. The accused appeared before the team led by ACP Hariprasad at the ACP office in Kannur, where her statement was recorded. The police formally registered her arrest and released her on bail in accordance with the anticipatory bail granted by the Thalassery Additional Sessions Court-IV.
