Jansadharan special trains have been announced by East Coast Railway (ECoR) between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada and MEMU special trains between Visakhapatnam and Parvatipuram to cater to the huge demand from passengers during the Sankranti festival rush.

DRM Waltair Lalit Bohra has made consistent efforts to run these trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Pongal season.

Train no. 08567 Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada Jansadharan special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 10 a.m on January 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18 to reach Vijayawada at 4 p.m. on the same day.

In the return direction, 08568 Vijayawada- Visakhapatnam Jansadhran special train will leave Vijayawada at 6.30 p.m. on January 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18 to arrive in Visakhapatnam at 00.35 hours (midnight) on the same day.

These pair of trains will stop at various station including important stations at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Yelamanchili, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru and Gangavaram.

These pair of trains will have all general classes in its composition. People are requested to make use of these special trains.

MEMU Special train:

Train no. 08565 Visakhapatnam- Parvatipuram MEMU special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 10 a.m. from January 14 to 18 and will reach Parvatipuram at 12.20 p.m.

In the return direction, 08566 Parvatipuram- Visakhapatnam MEMU special will leave Parvatipuram at 12.45 p.m. from January 14 and 18 to arrive in Visakhapatnam at 4 p.m.

These pair of trains will have stoppages at various station including at Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Gajapathinagaram, Komatipalli, Donkinavalasa, Bobbili and Sitanagaram

These pair of trains will have all general classes in its composition. People are requested to make use of these special trains
