Viswanathan Hospitals has launched its Department of Deglutology, a specialised department dedicated to the scientific assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of swallowing disorders (dysphagia), in Tiruchi. According to a press release on Thursday, the department focuses on providing care for individuals experiencing swallowing difficulties due to neurological conditions, stroke, seizure disorders, head and neck cancer treatment, and other medical conditions.
