A fire broke out at a vehicle service centre near the Amberpet flyover on Monday. No casualties were reported. The incident occurred at the facility located on road number six in Golnaka. The building comprises a ground floor structure, and the fire is suspected to have originated in an office room where waste scrap carton boxes were stored. Fire service personnel from Musheerabad fire station, along with a water bowser from Gowliguda, rushed to the spot and carried out firefighting operations. The Assistant Divisional Fire Officer from the Salar Jung Museum division also attended the scene. Officials said the fire involved scrap material and was brought under control. No injuries were reported. Further assessment of damage is underway.
