Several cases of suspected snakebites were reported from various places in Kerala on Monday (April 27, 2026). According to information recorded by the ‘Kanivu 108’ ambulance service, 16 snakebite cases and six suspected cases were reported until 6 p.m. The snakebite cases were reported from Kozhikode (three); Alappuzha, Kannur, Malappuram, and Thiruvananthapuram (two each); Kollam, Palakkad, Thrissur, Wayanad and Kottayam (one each).
