A team from the Central Soil and Materials Research Station inspected the quality of materials used in the Polavaram project on Tuesday. Specialists, including Anvesh, Gaurav Pandey, Uday Chakravarthy and Harinder Singh Prakash, examined the soil and rock utilised in the ECRF dam and other components of the project. Samples were collected from multiple locations and tested at the site laboratory, while additional samples were sent for advanced analysis. The team also reviewed materials used in Gap-1 and Gap-2 works. Officials from the Water Resources Department and executing agencies assisted in the inspection. The experts expressed satisfaction with the quality standards being maintained at the project.
