Viksit Bharat is national partnership between governments and every citizen, says Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman said here on Tuesday that Viksit Bharat is not the responsibility of government alone. It is a national partnership between the Union, the States, local governments, entrepreneurs, industry, academia, professionals, and every citizen.

Delivering late Nitte Vinaya Hegde Oration 2026 on the topic ‘Viksit Bharat – Vision for 2047’ at Nitte (Deemed-to-be-University) campus at Deralakatte, the Minister said that the government can build the platform, but the energy, ideas and discipline of 140 crore Indians will build the Viksit Bharat.
