All EVMs and VVPATs machines used for the April 23 polling in Virudhunagar district were kept in safe custody at the counting centre on Friday. A statement said that 3,132 ballot units, 2,007 control units and 2,024 VVPATs used in the 2,001 polling stations in the seven Assembly constituencies were kept in their respective counting halls at VHNSN College in Virudhunagar.
