The 2.9 -km stretch from Kodambakkam Power House to Panagal Park will have only three stations, and the tracks will be laid for a length of 5.8 km. | Photo Credit: Special arrangement The Chennai Metro Rail will commence track laying work from Kodambakkam Power House to Panagal Park of the phase II project in July. The primary focus in the next few months will be to launch the Poonamallee-Porur-Vadapalani stretch, a part of corridor 4 (Poonamallee to Light House via Porur), and to complete the construction of the elevated corridor from Koyambedu to Chennai Trade Centre, a part for corridor 5 (Madhavaram-Sholinganallur-Koyambedu).
