ECI issues guidelines for election camps outside polling stations

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections on April 23, 2026, the Election Commission of India has issued guidelines to regulate activities occurring outside polling stations on the day of polling.

The guidelines for election camps have been established in accordance with the statutory provisions of Sections 25 and 130 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, said a press statement.
