Shyam Prasad on Saturday inspected feeder channel desilting works under the “Jaladhara–Jalaharathi” programme, instructing the Irrigation and Revenue officials to expedite execution and ensure effective water flow to all the tanks. Inspecting the Kondiganigutta stream in Nallamada mandal, the Collector reviewed works and examined estimates and diversion routes. Officials said the project, constructed with an estimated cost of ₹4.99 lakh, will carry water from Kondiganigutta via Kottakunta to Reddypalli and further to Malukavemula tanks in the mandal and surrounding villages.
