Nearly two-and-a-half months after the death of two persons, following the consumption of seafood from one of the restaurants at Vizhinjam, the authorities are no closer to solving the mystery behind the deaths than before, as the detailed chemical analysis of the viscera samples have failed to find anything conclusive. On February 16, two members of a family of six from Kollam, who had eaten dinner at a restaurant specialising in seafood delicacies at Vizhinjam had fallen acutely ill and were dead within a matter of hours.
