The MoU was signed by Minister for Industries and Commerce, Food Processing T.G. Bharath on behalf of the State government and FICCI-FLO representatives, including national president Poonam Sharma, past national president Ujjwala Singhania and National Governing Body member Mourya Boda. The signing took place in the presence of APEDB Vice Chairman and Managing Director M. Abhishikth Kishor, FICCI-FLO Vijayawada Chapter chairperson Amrita Kumar and senior vice chairperson Supriya Mallineni. The agreement provides for the establishment of a 30-acre Women Entrepreneurs’ Industrial Park under the Andhra Pradesh Policy for Establishment of Private Industrial Parks with Plug-and-Play Infrastructure (2024–29). The park will cater exclusively to women entrepreneurs who are members of FICCI-FLO, focusing on enterprise creation, employment generation and economic independence. Mr. Bharath said that the initiative aligns with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s “One Family, One Entrepreneur” vision and complements the government’s plan to develop 175 MSME parks across the State. While FICCI-FLO will mobilise and mentor women entrepreneurs, APIIC will facilitate infrastructure, approvals and statutory support, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to inclusive industrial growth.
