Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for ReNew Energy Global PLC’s 6.5 GW solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Anakapalli district on Thursday. The plant is being set up with an investment of around ₹4,200 crore. The MoU for this plant was signed during the CII summit held in Visakhapatnam in November 2025. As per official sources in ReNew, the plant is expected to be commissioned within 24 months and create direct and indirect employment for at least 2,100 people.
