A new community-driven support initiative aimed at creating a network of trained “emotional first responders” was launched in Cyberabad on Saturday, with over 60 participants certified under the Margadarshak – Your Buddy in Distress (3.0) programme. Organised by the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Cyberabad police, the programme seeks to equip volunteers to provide early emotional support, guidance and referrals to people in distress, bridging the gap between communities and formal policing systems.
