Stage set for polling in Tiruchi

Stage is set for polling in the nine districts in central region on Thursday with elaborate arrangements being made to ensure smooth poll.

Polling will commence at 7 a.m. and continue up to 6 p.m. Basic facilities such as drinking water and toilet have been made at all polling stations.

In Tiruchi district, 2,787 polling booths have been established in the nine Assembly constituencies. A total of 21,47,051 are eligible to cast vote. Of them, 20,39,698 voters have been distributed with voter’s information slip (VIS).
