MOORTHY Stage is set for polling in the nine districts in central region on Thursday with elaborate arrangements being made to ensure smooth poll. Polling will commence at 7 a.m. and continue up to 6 p.m. Basic facilities such as drinking water and toilet have been made at all polling stations. In Tiruchi district, 2,787 polling booths have been established in the nine Assembly constituencies. A total of 21,47,051 are eligible to cast vote. Of them, 20,39,698 voters have been distributed with voter’s information slip (VIS).
