In the wake of objections being raised over sale of property to mobilise funds for the construction of a new building for the recently started degree college in Hosaritti by National Education Society, the management members have decided to hold a public auction. Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Tuesday, chairman Rajendraprasad Hallikeri, secretary Viranna Chakki and other office-bearers, including Gudlesh Hallikeri, Girish Ankalkoti, Somanath Mahajanshettar, P.G. Gourimani and Ramesh Ekbote, clarified that they have decided to withdraw their earlier decision and auction the 12 sites that have been sold with an intention to mobilise funds for a new degree college building.
