He submitted a letter conveying his decision to relinquish the post to KPCC chief Sunny Joseph on April 14. Mr. Eden denied that the move was triggered by alleged differences within the party, which had spilled over into cyberspace regarding the potential chief ministerial candidate in the event of a United Democratic Front victory in the Assembly.
