In a statement, he said out of 28 districts, temperatures above 41°C were recorded in 207 mandals across 22 districts on Friday, while on Saturday (25-04-2026), severe heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in 14 mandals and heatwave conditions in another 28 mandals across the State. High temperatures are expected particularly in North Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts.
