A wedding celebration in Gujarat’s Dahod district turned into a medical emergency after hundreds of guests reported illness shortly after the feast, officials said on Tuesday (April 21, 2026). More than 200 villagers are suspected to have suffered food poisoning following the incident in Abhlod village on Monday (April 20, 2026) night. Of them, at least 59 were admitted to hospitals, with doctors stating that all patients are currently stable.
