Veteran Malayalam actor Maniyanpilla Raju has been cleared of drunk driving charges in a road accident case that occurred two months ago at Vazhuthacaud in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala after scientific examination confirmed that he was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The accident took place on February 5 when the actor’s car collided with a motorcycle and left two youths injured. The incident had sparked controversy as the actor did not stop his vehicle immediately after the crash.
