Kumaraswamy on Sunday accused the DMK – by opposing the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill – of causing injustice to other Southern states due to its political expediency. “The DMK, after initially expressing support for key Constitution Amendment Bills, subsequently reversed its position, thereby depriving southern States of a significant and beneficial opportunity,” he told reporters in Delhi. The DMK and the Congress have been creating unwarranted confusion and apprehension among the public on the issue, he added.
