Sridhar Babu on Friday urged the defence industry, research laboratories and scientists to collaborate with the Telangana government to build a strong aerospace ecosystem in the capital region. Addressing the Indian Aeronautical Society’s national conference on “Changing Scenario in Aerospace: R&D, Manufacturing and Certification”, hosted by its local chapter at the Engineering Staff College of India in Hyderabad, he said Telangana and Hyderabad possessed the required infrastructure, a strong talent pool and dedicated aerospace clusters. More than 1,500 firms based in the State contribute to global aerospace supply chains, he noted.
