Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini (centre) releasing the BJP’s manifestos for the civic polls, in Panchkula on Wednesday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP State president Pandit Mohan Lal Badoli on Wednesday released separate manifestos of the party for the seven civic bodies, including the municipal corporations of Panchkula, Sonipat and Ambala, going to the polls on May 10. The party’s manifestos outlined 21 promises, including undertaking urban greening initiatives, strengthening sanitation campaigns, modernising sewage systems, developing state-of-the-art parks, improving traffic management and road infrastructure, resolving the issue of stray animals, empowering street vendors, promoting water conservation, establishing multi-level parking facilities, enhancing security through surveillance by CCTV cameras, and digitising citizen services. At the event held at the BJP office in Panchkula, Mr. Saini and Mr. Badoli assured that each promise would be fulfilled with 100% commitment.
