: A total of 15,264 election personnel from Thoothukudi district have cast their votes through postal ballots and 5,646 officials voted in person at the polling station after obtaining an election duty certificate, stated a press statement from Thoothukudi district administration. Following the conclusion of Tamil Nadu General Assembly elections on April 23 (Thursday), preparatory arrangements are in full swing for the vote counting, scheduled to take place on May 4 (Monday).
